Senator Vogel Encourages Congressman Altmire, Senator Casey, and Senator Specter to Help Prevent the Closing of New Castle Mail Facility

Senator Elder Vogel Jr. today released copies of letters he has sent to New Castle's federal representatives - Congressman Jason Altmire, Senator Robert Casey Jr., and Senator Arlen Specter, encouraging them to do all they can within their power to prevent the closing of the New Castle Mail Processing Facility by the U.S. Postal Service.

"The dedicated employees of the New Castle Mail Processing Facility provide efficient, dedicated mail service that our citizens have come to expect," said Senator Vogel.  "We cannot afford to lose these family-sustaining jobs, and I encourage Congressman Altmire, Senator Casey, and Senator Specter to do all they can within their power to prevent the closing of this facility."
