Proudly Saluting World War II, Korean War Veterans

Senator Vogel to host event on November 7 in Baden

Senator Elder Vogel will honor local World War II and Korean War veterans and their families during a very special recognition ceremony set for 10 a.m., November 7, at Circle of Friends Community Center located at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church School, 371 Linmore Avenue, Baden.

"The service and sacrifice of Americans in World War II and Korea preserved freedom and democracy around the world and certainly shaped the world we now live in and that of future generations," Senator Vogel said. "It is appropriate that as we commemorate Veterans Day, a day on which we honor and express our gratitude to the men and women who stepped forward and answered the call of duty."
